Solutions
Your field team, run from an app, paid on what they sell.
A workforce performance platform for distributed retail teams. A field agent opens the app and knows their target, how they are tracking, what it is worth, what they must do today and where they are rostered.
Field bundles Organizations, Employees, Sales performance, Visits, Surveys and Incidents. Head-office data lands through a scheduled feed and drives everything: targets, attainment, commission, and what each person must do today.
For the field agent
- Today, on one screen. Target, tracking, what it is worth in rand, today's work orders and where they are rostered.
- Check-in at the store. Geofenced attendance against the roster. An ad-hoc visit is fine; a missed shift raises an incident for a manager.
- Proof that survives no signal. Photos, signatures, surveys and ticks are captured offline and sent when the phone reconnects.
- Commission they can see. A statement per period, calculated from the same facts management sees, moving from calculated to approved to locked.
For the manager
- Rosters and leave. Shift templates, published rosters, approved absences that suppress no-show deviations.
- Targets and scorecards. Numeric goals per metric and period, KPIs an organization level is assessed on, and reviews against them.
- Work orders down the tree. Issue work to a region, an area or a store; each recipient gets an assignment and hands back a submission.
- Incentives and achievements. Time-boxed bonus offers with claims, and milestones that become awards.
- Training with certification. Courses with a quiz, and certifications that expire.
Why not the incumbent
The South African incumbent owns offline order capture and store audits, and has no commission engine and no engagement loop. Field leads with commission plus engagement, matches on targets and attendance, and does not compete on order capture.
Why the app matters here
This is the solution where the mobile tier earns its keep. A field agent lives in the app; the web admin is for the office. Both read the same database.
