Commerce bundles the Products, Orders, Deliveries and Storefront modules on top of the always-on site every kikstart business has. You get a catalog with variants, options and collections; quotes, sales, invoices, credit notes and payments; dispatch and tracking; and a public storefront with cart, checkout and a shopper account.

Two backends, one app

The storefront reads from one of two places: kikstart's own catalog, or your Shopify store. You pick in configuration. The admin, the shopper account, the mobile app and the assistant are identical either way, because they are written against one contract rather than one vendor.

That means kikstart never asks you to leave Shopify. If you already sell there, keep the catalog and checkout you trust and add a tailored admin, a branded mobile app, and modules for the rest of your business.

When kikstart's own backend is the better choice

• You want the catalog, orders and customers in a database only you can reach.
• You sell in rand and want PayFast direct, including Instant EFT, with no gateway surcharge.
• You need quotes, invoices and credit notes, not only card sales.
• You want the same catalog to drive a field team's audits or a service listing.

Bringing your catalog across

The console imports a catalog from a WooCommerce or Shopify feed in one step, images included. You can be selling on your subdomain the same day.
