Where every record came from and what changed since: the batch that wrote it, the person who edited it, the field that moved.
Every write is attributed. An import, a scrape or a capture is a batch; a person's edit is an entry. A record's history shows both, so a wrong price can be traced to the feed that set it or the person who changed it.
