The unit
What a Programming Unit is.
One unit is a bounded piece of work delivered by a Kikstart engineer working with AI agents. The AI does the volume; the engineer owns the result. You pay for the outcome, not the hours.
A person who knows the platform scopes the work, reviews what the agents produce and signs off the result.
The same agents that build Kikstart itself write the first draft, the tests and the migration. That is why a unit costs what it does.
You get an estimate in units before any work begins. If the scope grows, the estimate is revised before the work does.
The work lands in your own deployment as configuration, a module extension or, on Enterprise, code in your repository.
